Is the quality of your flour
of true standard?
Flour we ship is exactly the same as the flour used by French
bakeries. We do not export low-quality products because
it will not bring any value to local bakeries. We want the
Gambian market to identify our company and our products
as regular and reliable partners to their success.
Do you ensure that the flour imported to Gambia
is not one of those goods rejected from Europe?
As mentioned above, our flour is THE SAME as the one used
by French bakeries. Gambian bakeries will get exactly the
same bags. The bread improver incorporated in the flour
is also the one used in France too. We leave low-quality
flour to others. We want Gambian bakeries to try our product
and come back to us, again and again. A low-quality flour
is a one-time deal. A high-quality flour is a never-ending
and growing partnership.
If my company depends on your company for regular
supply, can you ensure that you will not later turn around
and inflate your conditions thereby leaving me into difficulty?
Our goal is to become a REGULAR AND PERMANENT flour supplier
for local bakeries in Gambia. Therefore, we do not intend to leave
the country or change our selling conditions without
meaningful reason. In fact, two primary factors could question our current
offering and pricing:
- the exchange rate between the euro and the dollar: because
we have costs in euros but sell to Gambian businesses in
US dollars, changes in the exchange rate between
the two currencies will require a price adjustment.
- a bad harvest year in France (resulting in wheat scarcity
and an increase in the cost of flour mill operations)
Because those two factors can be easily checked by anybody,
they guarantee full transparency of our prices in front
of Gambian people.
My bakery is located in regions. Can your company
help in the distribution of flour in any region?
We definitely can. We do not plan to focus our market to
Banjul only. We have plans of distribution nationwide.
We already conducted analysis and estimates of regional needs in order to be logistically responsive
and reliable.
How can I test your flour?
One of the most influent bakery owners in the city of Banjul
has just ordered a full container of our flour. More and
more bakeries are using it, not only in Gambia. We schedule
regular imports of flour to Gambia. Any interested person
or company can contact our local branch in Banjul to purchase
and test our flour (tel.: 77 88 714 or 77 77 440).
